This article triggered the inspiration for the above picture. Do you know how much goods travel round the world, although they could be produce locally?? The impact of transporting goods around the world is huge in terms of fossil energy consumption.
Not to mention the negative impact of some corporation producing goods offshore, in third world countries, using loose labor laws...
